WIH Ladies 'Regained their power '!

This week, Women in Healthcare celebrated women from all walks of the industry at their 4th networking afternoon tea since lockdown.

"I’m so excited to have attended my first women in healthcare brunch this year. The event was absolutely beautiful and being in a room of outstanding women doing amazing work in the industry was hugely inspiring" -  Attendee

From nurses and food nutritionists to directors and care recruiters, women from all walks of the healthcare sector (and beyond) came together to celebrate, uplift and empower. Led by WIH founder Angie Khupe alongside event connoisseur, Jane Clynes, the event was the perfect mid week social where guests were able to share their stories and learn from one another.

Hosted at the newly refurbished queens hotel, the event offered its guests an insight into the do’s and don’ts of style - a subject that's often overlooked in the healthcare sector. Style expert Katy Wynn spoke to our guests about colour analysis and the importance of choosing colours that match your skin tone. With the right wardrobe and a thorough colour analysis comes confidence, and Katy taught us exactly how to achieve a more confident and bold approach to dressing. After the event, our guests left full of tips and tricks on how to look your best and coordinate your wardrobe more easily.

Overall, the event proved successful with guests leaving empowered and refreshed. Guests traveled from all across north Yorkshire and the midlands for what was a morning of solidarity and inspiration.
